HTP: Mantic Zombies (Ghouls)

I have a lot of Zombies to paint. These are some quick and dirty zombies thanks to the wonderful green's from Minitaire.

1. Prime with black then highlight white, as is standard.

2. Airbrush the entire model w/ Pestilence Flesh from Minitaire. The white will Shade the model well enough make sure the face is the focal point and the brightest shade of green.

3. Finally you airbrush mostly the head from the front, the shoulders and arms with Minitaire 'Bile' You'll also go back after you wash the flesh over the head and shoulders with this paint one more time to highlight.  Bringing focus to the face.

4. Paint all the fabric w/ Reaper's Tanned Shadow.

5. Wash all the fabric w/ Agrax Earthshade.  Not shown, once it's dry, you'll drybrush Reaper's Tanned Shadow over the model.

6. The ground is painted w/ Vallejo Burnt Umber. any spikes or nails in the ghouls is painted w/ Citadel Iron Breaker. Not Shown, drybrush with GW Zandri Dust on the base as a highlight.

7. Wash all the skin on the model w/ Reikland Fleshshade. The reds in the wash give the skin a great rotting look.  This wash works the best and after repainting the head and shoulders with Bile it looks great.

8. For bone I used Sand Yellow and washed with Agrax Earthshade. A good heavy wash to tone the bone down.

9. The red's are done with Game Color BLoody red, and they'll be inked with Game Ink 'Red' once it arrives.

More progress soon!
